A free training class of Continuous Chest Compression CPR for the public with hands-on training on life-like mannequins. Experienced and specially trained medical students will walk you through the necessary steps and answer your questions. Presented by University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center.

Continuous Chest Compression CPR is an easy, efficient way to help a victim of cardiac arrest. Developed in Tucson at the UA Sarver Heart Center, Continuous Chest Compression CPR is easy to learn, easy to remember and easy to perform. There is no need for mouth-to-mouth breathing.

Research has shown that calling 911 and administering continuous chest compressions is the most effective way to increase the chance of survival of sudden cardiac arrest in adults.

When: Wednesday, August 4, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Where: University Medical Center, DuVal Auditorium, 1501 N. Campbell Ave.

DuVal Auditorium is near UMC's main lobby. Look for “Be a Lifesaver” sign. For more information, call (520) 626-1232.

Please note: No pre-registration necessary. Free parking is available in UMC’s patient/visitor parking garage. This is not a certification class; participants will receive a letter stating that they completed the training.
